Your new organisation will be a well recognised, national hospitality and entertainment provider who are seeing an Accounts Payable Specialist as a final addition to their team. Your new role
Within the Accounts Payable Specialist role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the purchase systems, process & procedures are adhered to within your team, suggesting incremental changes and improvements where necessary. The Accounts Payable Specialist will need to work closely with the Assistants to coordinate the timely processing of supplier invoices & employee expenses as well as building a positive relationship with site finance teams to ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner.
The overall duties include accurate processing of purchase invoices, addressing supplier queries and resolving in a timely manner, supplier statement reconciliation, coordination payment runs as per company policy, creditor account maintenance, maintenance of the internal purchase order system and the necessary financial reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll need a good understanding of Accounts Payable processes and have experience of operating in the field, with some management or supervision of staff in the AP arena being a bonus. You'll be confident to communicate with customers and manage relationships whilst answering queries. Experience of updating Finance based systems is needed and an adaptability to different systems would be great.
