This is a hybrid position primarily based in Bristol, United Kingdom. The Finance function is responsible for providing transactional accounting services; treasury, financial planning, analysis, reporting and commercial finance support to all business units and functions throughout Computershare, across all global locations. The AR Support role operates within this function across global portfolios and under the direction of the Accounts Receivable manager. The role must also work collaboratively across other global Finance teams, supporting continuous improvement and project related activity.

This role will also require the ability to interpret information and to take action as appropriate considering financial and reputational risk. This role is responsible for the day-to-day account receivable activity. This will involve communication with Customers and Colleagues across the Computershare business operations. This role will require the accurate, timely and appropriate taking and recording of activity through appropriate systems and in accordance with policy and procedures in place.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviews and follow-ups on AR collections and resolves cause of variance.
  • Identifying discrepancies and fraudulent transactions and resolving such issues.
  • Managing customer dispute process & resolving all customer disputes
  • Manages a striong relationship with offshore AR teams holding them to account for delivering against their SLAs
  • Daily monitoring of SLAs and KPIs
  • Provides business support in the production and interpretation of report data
  • Provides SME support across operational processes, ensuring these are maintained, documented and translated into delivery.
  • Takes a proactive lead in identification of accounts for escalation.
  • Maintains oversight on quality metrics/balanced scorecard activity/effectiveness controls
  • Carries out AR activities on portfolios that need to remain in UK
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within scope of work.
  • Responding to queries from key stakeholders

What will you bring to the role?

  • GCSE level Maths & English (Preferred) or equivalent
  • Proficiency in MS Office - Ms Excel (Intermediate)
  • Job level experience
  • Teamwork experience with an ability to also work independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
