Accounts Receivable Assistant

This is a temporary role for an Accounts Receivable Assistant in the Accounting & Finance department of a not-for-profit charitable organisation. The role is primarily based in Derby and requires specialised skills in accounting and finance.

Description

• Manage and process invoices, credit notes, and receipts.
• Ensure timely collection of payments from clients.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records.
• Carry out bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Communicate with clients to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Assist with other accounting and finance tasks as required.

Profile

A successful Accounts Receivable Assistant should have:

• Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficient skills in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of accounting principles
