The Role
This is a hands on Accounts receivable role which will be reporting directly into an engaging and supportive Finance Ops Manager and will be involved in the following:
- Produce and distribute accurate consolidated sales invoices and customer statements, to organisations, in a timely manner.
- Chase organisations for payment, with the aims of maximising the absolute amount of cash collected, minimising the days sales outstanding (DSO) and overdue debt.
- Process receipts from organisations, including allocating the receipts onto the customers’ accounts.
- Effectively manage external and internal customer queries, so that the queries are resolved as soon as possible.
- To identify and push forward efficiencies within the role.
- To compile and distribute reports to senior management and other key stakeholders.
- To manage any requests received, such as the creation of new ad-hoc invoices or credit notes.
- To close the AR month end, ensuring any relevant reconciliations are completed and the aged debtor report is run and reviewed.
Your Profile
We are looking for a fun, humble, experienced Accounts Receivable professional who is looking to further develop their career.
You'll need a good grasp of all aspects of AR as well as experience of credit control. There is extensive interaction with the wider finance team including management accounts and finance business partners so being a people person is essential!
The ability to work effectively in Excel, particularly using Vlookups would also be beneficial.
Salary & Benefits
