Deustche Numis is in an exciting period of transition and transformation as the newest member of the Deustche Bank Group. You will sit within the Finance Department, reporting to the Head of Financial Operations, covering all aspects of the sales invoicing cycle from invoice initiation, production, general ledger input and perform credit control and posting cash receipts for both our UK & Irish entities.
You will build and maintain excellent working relationships with Corporate Broking and Corporate Finance staff and external clients alike.

Your key responsibilities
- Raising of sales invoices in accordance with brokerage agreements, corporate finance engagements, research services, commission sharing agreements (CSAs) and other ad hoc invoicing requests
- Daily posting of bank receipts to the general ledger and allocation to invoices (SUN System)
- Posting of debtors’ invoices and credit notes and allocation of cash receipts to customer accounts
- Credit Control – Following up with clients for overdue invoices and escalating where needed in accordance with our escalation policy.
- Creating and distributing the Aged Debtors report to Senior management on a bimonthly basis.
- Take ownership of the existing processes, ensuring appropriate controls and documentation are in place for areas of responsibility. with a view to driving continuous development and improvement wherever appropriate.
Your skills and experience
- Fundamentals of basic bookkeeping and accounting with regard to sales invoicing and cash cycles
- Knowledge of sales ledger cycle, accounting and systems
- Organised and excellent time management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to develop strong relationships with all levels of management, staff and our external client base
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to prioritise and plan work.
