Accounts Receivable Team Leader/Manager

Salary £40,000 - £50,000
Our client – a rapidly growing manufacturing and distribution business based in Leicester – is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Leader/Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis
- Manage the Accounts Receivable process.
- Perform account reconciliation, schedule preparation, and other duties to assist team during peak work periods if needed.
- Assist team members with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems or in resolving escalated complaints or disputes.
- Manage and oversee the reduction of unallocated cash number, whilst ensuring correct and timely allocation of customer payments in accordance with Group Allocation Policy
- Supervision of Accounts Receivables team offshore
- Monitor cash receipts,
- Monitor outstanding deductions,
- Weekly & monthly reporting,
- Co-ordination with external audit
- Timely delivery of balance sheet reconciliations,
- Credit check customers
- Support with the delivery of process improvements.
The right person
- Experienced in Accounts Receivable and leading a team
- Ability to perform hands on role
- Ideally with experience of imports & exports
- Effective communication skills, confident in presenting financial information to senior management,
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
- Able to fit into a dynamic and fast-moving accounting team within a large organisation
- Excellent planning, organisation skills and adherence to tight deadlines,
- Strong IT skills incl. Microsoft Excel (pivot charts / tables, macros, data models), Sage, Xero and, MS Dynamics 365 (ERP).
