Location:  Leicester

Office based role

Salary £40,000 - £50,000

Our client – a rapidly growing manufacturing and distribution business based in Leicester – is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Leader/Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis

• Manage the Accounts Receivable process.
• Perform account reconciliation, schedule preparation, and other duties to assist team during peak work periods if needed.
• Assist team members with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems or in resolving escalated complaints or disputes.

• Manage and oversee the reduction of unallocated cash number, whilst ensuring correct and timely allocation of customer payments in accordance with Group Allocation Policy

• Supervision of Accounts Receivables team offshore
• Monitor cash receipts,
• Monitor outstanding deductions,
• Weekly & monthly reporting,
• Co-ordination with external audit
• Timely delivery of balance sheet reconciliations,
• Credit check customers
• Support with the delivery of process improvements.

The right person

• Experienced in Accounts Receivable and leading a team
• Ability to perform hands on role
• Ideally with experience of imports & exports
• Effective communication skills, confident in presenting financial information to senior management,
• Proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
• Able to fit into a dynamic and fast-moving accounting team within a large organisation
• Excellent planning, organisation skills and adherence to tight deadlines,
• Strong IT skills incl. Microsoft Excel (pivot charts / tables, macros, data models), Sage, Xero and, MS Dynamics 365 (ERP).
