A diligent Accounts Senior is required to join a highly reputable Accountancy Practice, based in Beaconsfield, to lead and supervise the accounts team.

The Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the accounting and finance team, of trainees and Semi Seniors
• Prepare and review financial statements and Statutory accounts for sole traders, Partnerships and Limited companies well above the audit threshold 
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Provide guidance to junior staff and foster a supportive team environment
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and trends
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure their financial needs are met

Profile

A successful Accounts Senior should be/have:

• A background in Accountancy practice
• Ideally a professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA
• Experience completing planning and finalisation sections of audit files, maintaining quality of work.
• Able to organise and manage time efficiently and effectively.
• Aware of relevant financial targets and constraints and contributes to achieving these, keeping manager informed of progress and potential problems including actual vs budget.
• Effective use of IT including excel, audit and accounts packages (CCH Audit Automation, CCH Accounts Production)
• A customer-focused approach and the ability to maintain strong client relationships
