Permanent, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (37.5 hours)
The Client:
Our client is a well-established Accountancy Firm, offering comprehensive support to clients, to clients, catering to both local and international financial requirements.
The Role:
As an Accounts Senior, you will oversee clients accounting assignments, serving as their primary contact, and providing regular updates to management on work status.
Responsibilities:
-Maintain technical proficiency through training and webinars.
-Compile and finalise Limited company accounts.
-Reconcile all control accounts and prepare management accounts.
-Aid junior colleagues in resolving queries.
-Respond to clients ad hoc queries.
-Promptly communicate potential time overruns to managers.
-Resolve review points and address follow-up queries until accounts are signed.
Requirements:
-Previously worked as an Accounts senior or in a similar role.
-At least 5 years experience working in UK accountancy practice.
-Experience in Limited company accounts.
-Senior-level experience in supervising junior team members.
-ACCA Finalist or Fully Qualified.
-Skilled in using Xero and other accounting software.
-Expertise in utilising Pro Audit (auto automation) and CCH Accounts Production. (Preferred)
