Accounts Senior / Client Manager

Are you an ACA qualified (or almost qualified) Accounts Senior, Business Services Senior or Client Manager looking to upgrade to a modern and rapidly growing practice based in a prime location in Central London (West End location)? If so, this small yet growing accountancy practice firm with 10 staff based in a prime location in Zone 1 Central London is looking to recruit a qualified or almost qualified Accounts Senior / Client Manager due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients from larger firms. Your role will be varied and will include: managing your own portfolio of clients, being the main point of contact for many of the firms clients, preparing statutory accounts from start to finish for mainly Ltd companies under FRS 102, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, reviewing work and offering clients advise how to improve their business. You will also get the chance to work on other areas of accountancy such as management accounts, produce various reports, analysis and business management assignments and staff management / review work more junior staff prepare. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a growing team that will provide you with many growth opportunities in the future. The firm mainly uses Xero and Iris.

To be considered for this new role (January 2024) you will be a qualified ACA (either qualified or a finalist with a few exams remaining) and currently working for a UK based practice firm with experience of the above duties, particularly preparing statutory accounts from start to finish, tax returns and ideally managing your own portfolio of clients. You will either be working for a small or medium sized firm and looking to step up and take on more responsibility or be working for a larger practice and looking to work in a more friendly firm with a better work life balance and faster progression. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including Xero, is desirable but training will be provided if necessary. You must now be looking to upgrade to an entrepreneurial and modern firm where you can continue with your accountancy career, work on an interesting client base and learn new skills so you can progress to managerial level in the future. You also must have experience of preparing FRS 102 accounts.
