SalaryOur client a forward thinking, growing firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Accounts Senior/Assistant Manager to join their busy team in Havant.
You will be responsible for your mixed portfolio of clients from various sectors, including a few charities, dealing with their accounts and corporation tax returns. You will also supervise and mentor junior members of the team.
Duties include:-
- Accounts preparation for mainly Owner Managed Businesses, for clients up to £10million t/o
- Prepare and monitor budgets
- Corporation Tax
- Liaise with clients regularly to collect information and deal with any complex queries
- Prepare accounts from incomplete records
- Prepare corporation tax computations and returns
- Keeping up to date with all accounting changes and attending any training courses where necessary
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required
You will ideally have at least 3-4 years UK practice experience and ideally hold a professional qualification such as ACCA/ACA although study support will be considered if required. You will also possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
An understanding of systems such as IRIS would also be an advantage.
