An well known company based in Worcester are searching for an Accounts Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis working Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00.
As an Accounts Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- To support the Finance Manager and the overall Finance team.
- To take responsibility for supervision of the Transactional team (Including the Sales
- Ledger Team, Purchase Ledger Team, AAT Apprentice and Purchase Ledger Clerk)
- To oversee general cash management, including banking and related queries,
- ensuring that amounts and records are correct.
- Ensure that daily communications are monitored and answered by Accounts Payable.
- Ensure the reconciliation and posting of accounts
- Assisting with month-end processes and supporting the wider team where appropriate.
As an Accounts Supervisor you will be required to:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in an Accounts environment
- Solid understanding of financial systems and processes
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and make recommendations.
- Good IT skills and ability to work with multiple systems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team.
- Positive attitude towards problem solving.
- An AAT qualification is highly desirable, preferably at Level 3.
- Previous Supervisor experience would be highly desirable
