Accounts Technician - Practice

As they continue to grow, we are partnering to hire an experienced Accounts Technician to join the team.

Your new role

As an Accounts Technician, you will play a crucial role within the practice. Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Handle invoicing, receipts, and payments.
• Monitor cash flow and reconcile bank statements.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
• Calculate end-of-year accounts.
• Collaborate with accountants to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Assist with tax returns and submissions.
• Provide advice on tax-related matters.

What you\'ll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• AAT qualification or be studying in the final stages.
• Background experience in accountancy practice (2-3 years or more).
• Proficiency in creating year-end accounts, management accounts, and VAT.
• Familiarity with online/cloud accounting software.
