Activities Team Leader

Activities Team Leader required for a friendly, homely, Nursing, Dementia, Residential Care Home located in Guildford, Surrey

GBP13.00 - GBP14.00 per hour (DoE) - 35 to 40 hours per week

• A family run Residential, Dementia Care Home located in Guildford, Surrey are looking for an Activities Team Leader to join their great team.
• Activities organising experience ideally in a care home is essential for this role.
• As an Activities Team Leader you will be in charge of planning, overseeing and implementing activities, as well as leading a small team of Activities and Wellbeing Coordinators.
• You will also help organise outings and special events such as birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas parties for the residents. You will be providing group and one to one activities.
• Other tasks will include liaising with family members to find out what activities their loved ones like, plus also creating links and engaging with the local community, writing and sending out newsletters to families and friends of our Service Users.
