- £45,000 – £50,000
- Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm
- Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote)
Job specification:
- Collaborating closely with Managers and Directors to conduct audit risk assessments, plan audits, and address audit and accounting challenges.
- As Audit Team Leader, you will guarantee the timely and cost-effective completion of audit assignments.
- Evaluate audit progress and offer guidance and support to junior team members.
- Extensively communicate with clients during all stages of the audit process, including planning, fieldwork, and completion.
- Engagement in the training and development of ACA students, as well as the staff review process.
- Drafting statutory financial statements for audit clients of a Big 4 firm.
- Acquisition and divestiture due diligence procedures.
- Evaluation and documentation of internal control processes and systems.
Person specification:
- Outstanding technical expertise and client interaction abilities.
- Newly qualified or experienced ACAs or ACCAs.
- Capability to independently research and apply technical knowledge.
- Diverse experience in statutory audit and accounts preparation.
- Robust and current understanding of FRS 102 & ISAs.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A successful Audit Team Leader will be able to assign tasks and oversee junior staff.
- Strong IT proficiency and adaptable to technological advancement.
