Salary: NJC Grade F SCP 19-24 £29,777 - £33,024 pro rata per annum

Educational Diversity wishes to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible Support Assistant to provide consistent support to our students.
We are a split site provision, catering for students between the ages of 6 and 16, with emotional, behavioural, social and/or medical needs. The successful candidate will become part of a strong and forward thinking team, aiming to provide high quality education for young people who do not attend a mainstream provision.
You will be working with some of the most vulnerable and challenging young people in Blackpool who are currently unable to access mainstream school.
Educational Diversity is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In line with our Child Protection and Safeguarding policy we will review candidate’s online presence and carry out on safeguarding checks on successful applicants.
The safeguarding responsibilities of the post, such as the extent to which the role will involve:
- Contact with children
- Engaging in regulated activity with children
- This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
