The Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP) are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Operations and HR team for an 8-month fixed term contract. The role will be reporting to the Head of Operations.
Start: May 2024
Salary: £26,000 per annum (pro-rata) + company benefits
Hours: Flexible Working Options Available (0.5 or 0.8 FTE)
8 months fixed contract, with opportunity for extension.
Location: E2, near Bethnal Green. Hybrid, minimum 3 days in the office.

THE ROLE
ETP is in need of an Administrative Assistant to join our Operations Team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to support our Head of Operations and HR Specialist in various administrative and HR tasks. This role involves handling HR & Admin services and assisting with various tasks as requested by the team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support the HR Specialist in the recruitment process, from posting job adverts to arranging interviews.
- Assist in conducting necessary employment checks, including collecting references and verifying qualifications.
- Help prepare recruitment documentation such as offer letters and contracts.
- Coordinate the onboarding process, including arranging induction training and IT setup for new employees.
- Manage contracts, personnel files, and employee information.
- Assist in planning and organising team building activities.
- Administer Health & Sickness forms, annual leave, and absences.
- Issue visa application letters when necessary.
- Manage and update employee and contractor asset records.
- Perform any other administrative tasks as requested by the department.
ABOUT YOU
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Proficiency in IT skills, including Windows, Outlook, and Excel.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
- SharePoint experience would be an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proven organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Accurate typing and data entry skills.
- CIPD any level, desirable but not essential
