Newstaff Employment Services are looking for an Adim/Account Clerk to join a growing company based in Bletchley.
Description:
- Inputting invoices from suppliers onto the accounting system
- Verifying invoices are correct and raise queries if required.
- Chasing responses/credit notes
- Assist with quarterly VAT returns and end of year accounts.
- Check prices and tax codes are correct against information on the system.
- Respond to enquiries from suppliers and customers.
- Answering the calls in a professional manner
- Perform additional tasks/duties as assigned by the management team to support with overall objectives within the business.
- Knowledge of Xero accounting system or similiar would be an advantage
You must:
- Be computer literate and able to learn new systems quickly and effectively.
- Possess excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Good level of English
- Must be passionate with figures.
- Accuracy and good attention to detail
- Capable of working in a small team as well as work alone to complete all tasks.
- Happy to undertake additional tasks when required.
Details:
- Hours of work 9am-5pm
- Monday to Friday
- Weekly pay with holiday accruement
- Hourly rate: £11.50ph-£12.50ph dependant on experience
- Ongoing work
- Free onsite parking
- Temp-Perm position for the right candidate
