Brook Street are working in partnership with Insolvency Service in their search for Admin Officers to join their team as soon as possible.

Assignment Length: Currently running until 2nd January 2025 with the possibility to extend
Pay rate: £11.53ph - Weekly Pay
Working arrangements: FULLY OFFICE BASED DURING TRAINING then Hybrid Working 3 Days in the office / 2 Days Work from Home after training period - (Monday - Friday - 37 hours per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Queen Elizabeth House, 1 Sibbald Walk, Edinburgh EH8 8FT

The Insolvency Service is a leading Government agency which plays a crucial role in providing essential services to the public and to business. The work they do is important to the proper functioning of markets, the economy in general and support for thousands of people each year who are in financial difficulty.

Job Description & Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • This is a fast-paced role, so agents must be adaptable and prepared to work on different workloads throughout their assignment.
  • Agents will be gathering and recording information provided onto in-house systems.
  • Agents will monitor a shared inbox where they will be allocated applications to process and queries to answer. Queries may be regarding pensions or protective awards that are being paid to customers.
  • The role will consist of a range of data gathering and entering tasks, making payments, administration, and email correspondence.
  • Although most of the work will be completed via email, agents must also be confident making and receiving phone calls from internal members or staff and customers.
  • Providing excellent customer service both orally and in writing.
  • Ensure all correspondence is dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Delivery of professional, prompt & efficient performance in line with processes and guidance.
  • Learn and apply correct security protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and safeguard customer data in accordance with agreed policies and processes.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

  • Customer focused and strong customer service skills.
  • Flexible and dedicated.
  • Strong administration skills
  • Good at communicating with different people and listening.
  • Have good keyboard skills.
  • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and other Microsoft packages

* Must be able to pass a BASIC DBS check*
