Job Opportunity: Administrative Officer

Location: Derry, BT47
Pay: £12.59 per hour (Paid Weekly)
Hours: 9am-5pm, Flexible Working, 37 hours per week
Length: 6 months with possible extension

Job Duties:

• Prepare Indictable files for Arraignment for L’Derry, Omagh/Dungannon, and Coleraine side of Antrim. Detail the IO and type up result sheet, add folders, etc.
• Inform VWCU of Arraignment date.
• Prepare Blank Witness Letters for Fraud & Departmental files.
• Allocate Counsel and Issue Brief to Counsel.
• Issue BOI and print hard copies for lodging in court and file & counsel.
• Amend, Split, and combine BOI when requested.
• Manage Crown Court Task Bucket and emails.
• Send courier to Antrim once a week and Omagh daily.
• Issue Bad Character, Special Measures, Hearsay & Live link applications when required.
• Issue Victim Impact Report after discussions with D/O and Counsel when required.
• Process Bail Applications/Variations when received and required.
• Generate Witness Letters from Fraud & Departmental cases and issue to the I/O when required.
• Process Account NI transactions.
• Cover AA Duties when required.

Essential Criteria:

• 5 GCSEs including both Maths & English (or level 2 equivalent)
• Basic Access NI Check
• CTC Clearance
