Main duties for the post includes: To be responsible for leading the administrative team and the supervision and co-ordination of the workstreams within the Service, ensuring all systems and processes operate efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner, through a process of continuous improvement. Providing support to the Business Support Manager with regards to the day to day responsibilities of the administrative staff and workstreams which may include recruitment; appraisals; training; performance and quality management, and providing supervision and support to the Team. To produce, review and communicate Safeguarding and Children in Care business performance measures, including departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). To develop and maintain positive and responsive front of house operations, incorporating excellence in customer service at all times, through training and management of staff. To monitor and improve Quality Standards of administrative services within their own area, with links with the wider service regarding administrative standards To represent the administrative team at meetings and groups as delegated by the Business Manager. To provide support to the Business Manager where required and act as their Deputy if required to do so when needed. To provide comprehensive, effective and confidential administrative service to the Head of Safeguarding and the Team Leaders.
