Local Education and Development (LEAD) is a distinguished and award-winning training company specialising in a diverse range of online digital courses tailored to meet the needs of the local community and businesses. LEAD Training delivers full-time and part-time further education, work-based learning, and community education programmes.

3. Main purpose of the job role:
The purpose of this role is to provide a comprehensive and effective administration service that supports the delivery of the ESFA/ESF and fully funded training and provide and maintain effective and efficient data relating to finance, personnel, and learners.
Providing administrative support for LEAD’s provision, ensuring that staff and students needs are met and that all work is carried out in accordance with agreed LEAD procedures and quality standards.
4. Data (MIS) Responsibilities:
- Maintain expert knowledge regarding the use and storage of learning and ILR data, particularly in relation to the Learner Management System and ESFA/ESF funding systems.
- Manage ILR data by collating and organising incoming information and submitting to the ESFA/ESF web portal as well as other funding systems.
- Lead on the production and submission of compliant ILRs and Data submission.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance in relation to ESFA/ESF audit compliance.
5. Administration duties:
- Undertake a range of tasks related to fee collection, enrolments, and admissions for students, to implement LEAD’s procedures and provide the best possible service to students.
- Implement agreed systems for monitoring student attendance, providing reports on absence and recording transfer and exit data, to ensure that records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Carry out data validation and amendment activities in accordance with LEAD Training and audit requirements to preserve the integrity, validity, and accuracy of the student record.
- Deal with routine correspondence and enquiries from students, employers and stakeholders, outside agencies and LEAD staff, referring on to appropriate specialist staff in accordance with LEAD procedures.
- Maintain regular liaison with specified staff to refer queries, provide information, arrange appointments with specialist advisers and ensure the effective implementation of LEAD’s procedures.
- Carry out a range of student-related administration, e.g. educational visits, events, student references, reports, and minute taking, to support the effective delivery of courses.
- Engaging confidently and professionally with students and external stakeholders during enquiries, demonstrating a clear understanding of course content and delivery.
- Undertake routine clerical tasks such as filing and photocopying, and maintain stocks of stationery, supplies and information leaflets.
- As required, contribute to the staffing of the reception and telephone answering service to ensure the provision of an efficient and helpful response to students and visitors.
- Manage the administration inbox to ensure timely responses in adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
- Process orders, check goods received and process invoices for payment, ensuring compliance with LEAD’s financial regulations and purchasing procedures.
- Work flexibly as part of the administrative team, contributing to the development of administrative systems and procedures, to ensure that a high-quality administrative support service is provided to students and staff.
6. General responsibilities:
- Participate actively and flexibly in a range of activities, such as duty rotas, enrolment and marketing events, staff and student activities, and attending recruitment events with external stakeholders such as Job Centre Plus, where appropriate.
- Participate in training and team development activities, to develop skills and knowledge.

Experience:
- Working in the Training industry: 3 years (preferred)
- MIS (Management Information Systems): 3 years (required).
- Administrative experience: 3 years (required).
Personal Attributes:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional telephone manner and the ability to handle enquiries effectively.
- Proficient in multi-tasking effectively and being highly organised in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.
- Experience and Proficiency in delivering confident presentations utilising online platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in various software and tools.

Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
