Northern Gas Networks have an exciting opportunity for anAdministration Assistant based at our offices in Thorpe Park, Leeds. You will be working alongside our Project Management Office (PMO) supporting the GD3 project.
You will facilitate high quality administrative support to the GD3 PMO and work closely with the wider business and assist with general queries and requests as well as other varied administrative duties. This role will see you delivering a first-class service working with internal and external stakeholders, so communication skills are essential!
Your Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to
• Work in the Strategic Planning team to support the effective delivery of the GD3 programme of work
• Update and track the plan and road map for the programme of work, identify and track dependencies, risks and issues
• Arrange meetings and workshops for the workstream leads
• Collate and track outputs and actions from workshops and project meetings to support delivery, e.g. stand ups, team retrospectives and workstream planning meetings
• Track and store evidence to support the governance process
• Support with purchasing requests, ensuring compliance with NGN policies
• Programme reporting, lead the collation of the combined work-stream weekly status update deck and undertake 1st review
• Production of communication documents to support the PMO alongside managing the SharePoint site and directory structure
• All of the above will be alongside general team administration duties

• You will be expected to have a strong background in a fast paced office environment
• Excellent communication skills both verbal & written
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work to deadlines
• Attention to detail and focus on quality is essential
• Be a team player with a 'can do' attitude
