Tarff Valley Ltd, is Scotland’s oldest Agricultural Co-operative, established in 1903 and now has in excess of 1300 members. Tarff is an Agricultural Merchant supplying the rural community in Southern Scotland, Northern England, Ayrshire and most recently, Islay, with a wide range of quality products and services. Tarff positions itself as a ‘one stop shop’ and sells a full range of agricultural products including animal feed, fertiliser, seeds, anthelmintics, animal health products, hardware, clothing and footwear.
We are looking for an admin assistant for our Feed department to perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. There may be some flexibility as to the hours for the right candidate- and we can consider applicants who wish to work between 15 - 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
· Support the feed manager with admin duties.
· Processing / updating of sales orders.
· Produce invoices to suppliers and hauliers.
· Any other ad hoc duties
Requirements
· IT literate
· Knowledge of our products and business an advantage
· Able to work on own initiative.
· Attention to detail.
· Good organisational skills
· Good communication skills
. Work well as part of a team
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £6.40-£11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
