On behalf of our client, we are searching for a part time Administration Support assistant to join their small but very welcoming team based in their scenic headquarters based near Bury St Edmunds.The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administration and coordination based tasks to ensure the smooth running of the office, visits, staff and volunteer management. Due to the rural location, a driving license and access to your own vehicle will be essential.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately undertake general administrative tasks including; Room bookings, financial and petty cash records, meeting notes and taking minutes, staff records, safety information and general correspondence
- Be responsible for Marketing of the company through local media outlets under the guidance of the external PR company and Marketing department
- Maintain staff and volunteer contact details, communicating regularly to ensure relationships are maintained
- Undertake a range of administrative support tasks including handling of income, stock replenishment and dealing with enquiries from members of the public
- Work with various teams across the business to ensure the consistency and effectiveness of communication to staff and visitors
- Work in accordance with company policies including Health and Safety and equal opportunities
- Undertake other duties required for effective company operation as required
- Previous experience within and administrative role
- Experience in working with/alongside volunteers
- Experience in working with customers/visitors/general public
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Experience in implementing cash handling, banking and Health and Safety procedures
