Role overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative tasks, with experience in inputting financial data into specific software systems. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The business is split into three distinct units, and the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting the heads of these units with various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities :
- Input financial data into designated software systems with accuracy and precision
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of financial records and documents as well as cross-check data to ensure consistency and identify any discrepancies
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members
- Provide general administrative support to the team as needed
- Uphold confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls as well as manage reception duties, including greeting and assisting guests
- A degree with a minimum of a 2:1 classification, ideally in a science, business or marketing vertical or part of an agency internship program
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a finance-related setting
- Experience with financial software systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills as well as strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
