Part-time Administrator
Work Pattern: 15 hours/wk (9.30 - 2.30 Tuesday - Thursday)
Salary: £25,500 FTE (Actual salary for 15 hours/wk: £10,338)
Based: Ottershaw, KT16
Our client is a voluntary organisation offering practical and emotional help and support to vulnerable families. They support families in their own homes and in groups through a team of trained volunteers and professional staff.
They are looking for an experienced, friendly, diplomatic Administrator with excellent interpersonal skills, to work 15 hours a week over 3 days, ideally Tuesday to Thursday, to support the Manager, frontline staff and Trustees to ensure the smooth running of the office.
The successful candidate will have experience of working independently within an administrative role. An understanding of working with children and families would be desirable. The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of office practices and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks accounting software.
Essential requirements include:
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Canva and online databases;
- understanding of the needs of vulnerable families with young children;
- understanding of and commitment to the ethos and policies of this family support charity;
- ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers and partners;
- understanding of GDPR and safeguarding;
- understanding confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace;
References will be taken up and an enhanced DBS disclosure will be undertaken. The post is subject to a satisfactory probation period of 3 months.
