Administrator
Job Summary
As an Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials, products, and services required for our operations. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure that purchases are made in a timely manner. This role involves administrative tasks, and process optimisation.
This role may also be required to provide administrative support to other departments within the business when required.
This role is required to work closely with other teams within the business; as well as the production support function which includes scheduling administrator and the stores team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Purchase Order Management:
Create, review, and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and budgets.
2. Supplier Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
3. Stock Control:
Working closely with the Stores team to monitor stock levels, identify shortages or surpluses, and coordinate replenishment orders and/or returns where required. Utilising company software and coordinating with other departments within the business.
4. Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive records of purchases and shortages, in line with company policy to allow for accurate reporting to be completed.
A working knowledge of SAGE 50 Accounts would be an advantage, however, full training will be provided
Hours of work: 07:30am - 17:30pm, Monday - Thursday
