Job Title: Administrator

Hours: Full Time
What you’ll be responsible for:
· To provide an efficient and high-quality booking and scheduling service to meet the requirements of the Directorate.
· The post holder will be expected to liaise with senior clinical staff, outpatient staff and managers on the maintenance of services ensuring that accurate information is provided to patients via clinic letters whilst working to national access targets.
· Undertake to act in a professional and polite manner at all times maintaining high levels of customer care.
· Maintain good relationships, communicating with all disciplines within the Trust.
· Maintain good relationships and effective communicative with patients, relatives and carers and resolving patient concerns using negotiation and listening skills.
· Actively participate in the department and in other group meetings.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Office experience and knowledge of administrative procedures.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to deal with a wide range of NHS staff and patients on the telephone.
· Previous experience of working within a team
· Experience of working in a customer care environment
· Be able to prioritise own workload and work to deadlines.
