Academic appointments are currently working alongside a Pupil Referral Unit based in North Leeds to appoint an Administrator to undertake and provide administrative/clerical support to staff in a Special School Setting for pupils who demonstrate Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.
This is a temporary role between the hours of 8-1 with a potential to becoming permanent.
Who are we looking for?
A successful candidate would:
- Experience in an office environment.
- IT experience; working with Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Publisher.
Other Desirable experience:
- Experience of working within a school environment.
- Experience of working with Arbor.
- Leadership experience.
- RSA Word Processing Level 2 or equivalent. (Or the ability to pass an internal test using MS Word).
- Relevant IT qualification.
What to expect?
- Answering phone calls as required in a professional manner as first point of contact.
- Working as receptionist welcoming visitors into school.
- Providing admin support for several staff on site.
- Responsible for day-to-day administrative duties.
- Typing, word-processing and other IT based tasks.
- Inputting data into management system (Arbor).
