Duties included:
Creating, maintaining, and updating EHCPs for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).Following all legal and regulatory requirementsMaintaining accurate records of meetings, assessments, and reviews Handling confidential and sensitive student dataManaging administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, distributing documentation, and filing reports.Offering support and information to parents and students about the EHCP process and their rights.Manage Educational, Health and Care Plan process for new students and organise annual reviews.Ensuring numbers are accurately recorded and feedback to Head of Department, ALS Team leader and Director for Life and SkillsRepresenting the College at Local Authority Panels to assist with panel decisionsOrganise and when required carry out offsite assessments on potential students within guidelinesEnsuring all paperwork is completed to required standardDeliver training on EHCP across the College as and when needed To be considered for this role you should have the following.
Level 4 Diploma in Teaching / Working Towards (Desirable)Level 2 English, Mathematics, and ICTExperience of working in an FE environmentKnowledge of the EHCP ProcessKnowledge and Understanding of High Needs Funding ProcessExperience in dealing with administrative quality assurance processes and complying with audit requirements.
