To work for a family run company with an excellent reputation - based in a rural location - separate office but onsite at the yard/workshop. You will need to have a car as the location is not accessible via public transport.

We are seeking an organised individual to fill the role of Office Manager. The successful applicant will thrive, client-focused environment, possessing excellent communication, IT, and administrative skills. This position requires the ability to manage a busy workload, work both independently and collaboratively within a small team, and ensure the smooth operation of various office functions.
Responsibilities: - Administrator - Office Manager
Central Point of Contact:
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, and providing assistance.
Arrange site visits, book work appointments, and efficiently resolve customer queries.
Diary Management:
Maintain and organise schedules, appointments, and important dates for the team.
Utilise Xero accounting software to prepare accurate quotes.
Assist in financial activities such as invoicing and payment processing.
Regulatory Compliance:
Research local authority legislation related to tree protection orders.
Prepare and submit detailed planning applications as required.
Documentation:
Prepare Method Statements for specific works, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Communication:
Effectively convey complex information to arborists through clear and concise job sheets.
Accreditation and Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to industry regulations and compliance across the business.
Record Management:
Maintain records for vehicles, equipment, and ensure timely servicing and replacement parts.
Safety and Compliance:
Keep accurate records of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Issue Resolution:
Resolve issues promptly and professionally as they arise.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in a busy, client-focused environment.
Excellent communication, IT, and administrative skills.
Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload effectively.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a small team.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
