Office Administrator- Part Time Northampton, NN6Temporary or Fixed Term Maternity Contract
Monday to Friday: 20 hours per week, 3 full days or 5 days school hours £23,000 - 25,000 (PRO RATA)
Impact Recruitment are on the lookout for an Office Administrator to support a dynamic and growing team, working on construction projects across commercial, residential, and bespoke works.
In this role you will be responsible for project administration and delivery of key projects to clients across the country.This role is based in Northampton (NN6), so the successful candidate will need to live a commutable distance away and be able to drive.
Key duties and responsibilities of the Office Administrator (Construction):
- Administration support for the Contracts and Project Managers throughout the construction phase.
- Send enquiries prepared by Quantity Surveyor, updating tender returns, insurance policies, training certifications.
- Receive and review client enquiries and liaise with suppliers during the tender process.
- Help compile H&S files and site setup packs, and liaise with external H&S Advisor to ensure full compliance.
- Create project numbers and raise invoices as requested.
- Liaise with clients and other third party professionals, such as construction site managers.
Key experience and skills required for the Office Administrator (Construction
- Relevant experience in a similar administration role, ideally while working in the construction industry. Full support and training is provided.
- Valid driving licence and own transport (essential)
- Strong IT proficiency (competent user of MS Excel)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work in a fast-moving and ever-changing environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
