You will be required to clinically examine and assess patient needs and demonstrate safe decision making and expert care. The candidate will need to show the ability to work independently, as well as working with in a diverse team to provide high quality care to the patient population registered at the surgery. Main duties include the overseeing of minor illness clinics, assessing acute illness presentations, prescribing, developing treatment care plans, ongoing Long Term Condition Management, referrals and End of Life Care. Good IT skills also required within this role to ensure accuracy of data on to patient record in EMIS. You will be required to administer seasonal and COVID vaccinations in collaboration with the PCN. You will be working alongside a team of 2 GP partners, as well as our Practice Nurse, Health care assistant and admin team. The Surgery will provide a training and development plan to the successful candidate to ensure progression within the field.
