Salary (and Allowances): NJC Scale 4 to 5, pts 7 to 17, £24,294 to £28,770 (actual).
Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (Usual working hours are 8:00 to 4:00 with a finish of 3.30 one day per week, to be agreed dependent on Academy needs)

In response to the growth of the Academy, we are seeking to appoint to a new role of Advanced ICT Support Technician. Offering an exciting opportunity for career development, the successful candidate will join the existing ICT team, helping to maintain and support the ICT Services across both our Sleaford and Ruskington campuses.
The successful candidate will have advanced ICT technical skills and proven experience of completing successful ICT repairs, installations, configuration and upgrades (hardware and software). Key skills required within the role will include problem solving, good working knowledge of ICT systems and the ability to organise and prioritise tasks in a busy and changing environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting Microsoft Server and SAN environments and will hold an NVQ or equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant discipline.
The ICT Services Team support over 2300 students and 350 members of staff, using 1800 workstations & laptops. Knowledge of Microsoft and Apple products is preferred, although in-house training will be provided. Prior knowledge of IP systems including WiFi, CCTV, and telephony would also be an added bonus.
St George’s Academy is a large, successful, 11-18 mixed secondary school of 2,426 students (including 362 in the sixth form and 525 on our Ruskington Campus) with outstanding facilities in all areas. The Academy serves Sleaford, Ruskington and the surrounding Lincolnshire villages.
