Are you an experienced Musculoskeletal clinician and passion individual that wants to provide excellent patient care while developing their own MSK skills? Look no further than this exciting opportunity to join our Oxfordshire service at Connect Health.

The Oxfordshire MSK Service is an integrated NHS service commissioned by Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group that provides advice and treatment for people with MSK, chronic pain, MSK Podiatry, and pelvic health related conditions.

We are committed to a multi-professional workforce based on competency and welcome applications from Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Sports Therapists and Rehab Therapists. If you’re able to manage a varied caseload of MSK patients, committed to CPD and have the desire to develop yourself and the service, with a keen eye on improving patient care, then we’d like to hear from you.

We are dedicated to delivering the highest level of patient care, in the most efficient and cost-effective way, with re-investment to ensure services are sustainable. We are looking for well-organised MSK Clinicians, to deliver quality clinical care for patients with MSK conditions. Whilst undertaking comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with a wide variety of physical and emotional needs, you must formulate, deliver, review and progress individual treatment programmes and ensure effective treatment, specialist advice and timely discharge are achieved.

Join our motivated, ambitious, and fast-growing team. We focus on competency, developing talent and offer great flexibility. You’ll be registered with the HCPC or equivalent regulator (as professional background dictates) and be qualified as a clinician that works within MSK practice.

What you will do in the role…

An Advanced MSK Clinician is the bread and butter of our organisation and covers all our frontline Musculoskeletal clinicians in the multidisciplinary team from, Physiotherapists, Sports Therapists, Osteopaths and Chiropractors.

The role of an Advanced MSK Clinician is fundamentally about the consistent delivery of quality clinical management of musculoskeletal conditions for the patients presenting to the intermediate care service, who at times may be complex. You will be integral to providing that front line care and support to patients suffering from musculoskeletal conditions.

You’ll have the opportunity to grow and develop as part of our multidisciplinary workforce, enabling you to deliver high quality patient outcomes as part of a team and business with a track record of excellence. In this role you’ll have dedicated admin time to help you manage a varied and often challenging MSK caseload of patience in a variety of clinical scenarios.

What you will bring to the role...

Every application will be considered individually, and we’re excited to be able to support the continued development our colleagues. The ideal applicant will possess the following.

  • Previous experience in delivering MSK services with tangible results.
  • Appropriate professional registration in line with your professional discipline (HCPC, SST, BASRaT, GOsC etc)
  • A keen and enthusiastic clinician with a commitment to providing excellent, personalised care.

  • Ability to work as an autonomous practitioner, within your scope of practice
  • Passion for delivering a quality clinical service meeting the clinical and operational needs of the MSK service
  • Stakeholder management skills to develop and foster productive relationships with local groups, charities, GPs, and other potentially productive links.

What you will benefit from...

Working within a dynamic group of clinicians and support service colleagues you will learn from and in collaboration with them. You’ll also be proud when you inspire and develop others from your expertise too.

Your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) will be a priority, as we invest in your development and reward you for giving your best.

The below are the added extras to our commitment to being a great place to work.

  • Up to 30 days’ holiday (plus public holidays) and an extra day for your Birthday
  • A minimum of 5% of working time devoted to your personal development with an in-house Learning and Development Academy offering a wide range of career pathway development opportunities
