Job Description:
We are currently recruiting experienced A&E Nurses to join our clients in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality emergency care to patients. We offer guaranteed shifts with the option to block book for up to 3 months, ensuring flexibility and stability in your work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and effective emergency nursing care to patients in the Accident and Emergency department.
- Conduct initial assessments, triage patients, and prioritize care based on the severity of their condition.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Perform diagnostic procedures, such as venipuncture and wound care, as required.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and response to treatment, adjusting care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation.
- Communicate and provide support to patients and their families during their time in the A&E department.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid nursing qualification and regulatory registration.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience working in an A&E or Emergency Department setting.
- Strong knowledge of emergency nursing practices, protocols, and procedures.
- Proficiency in performing rapid assessments, triaging patients, and making critical decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
