Job Title: Agency Residential Support Worker
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, particularly children, and possess strong communication skills. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and assistance to individuals in need.
Duties:
- Assist in the implementation of care plans for individuals, focusing on children
- Provide support and guidance to individuals in various daily activities
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues
- Utilize IT systems to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards those in your care
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children is preferred
- Ability to drive and valid driver's license desirable but not essential
- Proficiency in IT systems for record-keeping purposes
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans
- A background in childcare or related field is advantageous
- NVQ Level3 working towards level 4
