Job Overview: Reed Education is a leading education agency specializing in providing high-quality support to schools and educational institutions. We are currently seeking a dedicated and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a temporary basis across various schools and settings. As an agency Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students with special educational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEND.
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting learning materials.
- Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
- Foster positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs.
- Knowledge of different SEND conditions and strategies for supporting them.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students.
- Flexibility to work across different schools and adapt to varying environments.
