Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide assistance and support to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities, helping them to live fulfilling and independent lives. Your role will involve providing personal care, emotional support, and promoting the well-being of the individuals you work with. Responsibilities: - Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation - Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals - Assist with medication management and administration - Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities - Help individuals develop and maintain independent living skills - Monitor and report any changes in the physical or mental health of individuals - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for individuals - Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions and activities Skills: - Compassionate and empathetic nature - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a team - Strong problem-solving skills - Patience and understanding when working with individuals with disabilities - Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for individual's privacy - Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules If you are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others, we would love to hear from you.
