Your impact sends ripples.

ITV Studios is one of the biggest global creators, producers and distributors of TV content in the world.

Growing our UK and global production base is central to our More than TV strategy. We are the largest producer in the UK, one of the largest producers in Europe and one of the largest independent unscripted producers in the US. ITV Studios’ UK division includes 27 production labels, creating and producing a diverse range of scripted and unscripted content for a wide range of broadcasters and streaming platforms.

Within ITV Studios is our Global Partnerships function, which further adds to our creative and financial success by developing international hit formats and distributing our 90,000+ active catalogue hours of film and television content to buyers such as broadcasters, streaming platforms, airlines and many more. As we continue to grow, providing these development, sales and distribution teams with the right tools to succeed in a competitive environment is critical to powering ITV’s future value.

Working hand in hand with our business teams, ITV Technology is the key that unlocks our creativity, allowing us to make, distribute and monetise the best programmes in the UK and across the world. From the transformation of ITV’s internal systems to how the broadcaster makes programmes and delivers content to viewers, digital transformation and innovation is at the heart of our future at ITV.

The role

ITV Technology and Global Partnerships are working together on a major programme of change, building out new systems and capabilities for Rights, Content Sales & Licensing, Royalties and Contract Lifecycle Management. As part of this, we will be creating a brand new cross-functional technology delivery capability, bringing together skills in data analytics, software engineering, business analysis, product management and architecture. The Agile Delivery Manager will be crucial to helping us develop and champion the team, building a culture of delivery within the newly formed capability. You will establish the working patterns of the team, develop and implement the core events to suit the team dynamics, and lead on the formation of positive working relationships within the team and beyond.

Agile professionals across ITV are accountable for helping to validate whether we are working on the right goals in the right way, or whether we might benefit from pivoting in a different direction. Our Agile Delivery Managers help achieve this through coaching multiple teams toward effective planning and predictable, iterative delivery.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Work alongside the project and programme management team to ensure that key milestones are met, monitoring development progress and effort, ensuring ongoing peak delivery throughput.
  • Coordinate tasks across external vendors who will be delivering key functionality into ITV, ensuring that internal delivery is aligned with external milestones
  • Be hands-on with multiple teams to champion the adoption of agile values, principles and good practices.
  • Help build trust and transparency within teams by promoting a collaborative and communicative environment.
  • Champion an agile mindset to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate team and cross-team events.
  • Work with Product Managers, Project/Programme Managers, external suppliers and stakeholders to ensure transparent goals and priorities.
  • Identify and help remove impediments.
  • Contribute towards ITV’s Agile Delivery community, sharing knowledge and experiences to help build capabilities across the organisation.
  • Leverage tools like Jira to help teams plan, coordinate and optimise flow.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

  • Solid demonstrable experience working as either a Scrum Master and/or Agile Delivery Manager.
  • Well-versed in building trust and coaching teams toward self-management and cross-functional behaviours.
  • Good understanding of various agile frameworks, methods and good practices, and the ability to effectively implement them within projects.
  • Be able to manage work and dependencies in a hybrid build/buy environment across internal and external partner teams.
  • Experience of using empiricism to drive continuous improvement in planning, forecasting and predictability.
  • Strong coaching and facilitation skills with the ability to support colleagues to utilise their strengths in order to drive positive change and outcomes.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced and matrixed environment with multiple stakeholder demands.
  • Demonstrable experience of building high-performing teams in newly created domains.

Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)

  • Professional, industry recognised accreditations in Scrum (PSM/CSM), Kanban (KMP1/PK1), coaching and facilitation (ICP-ACC/ICP-ATF).
  • Knowledge of Media, Rights Management and/or CRM would be an advantage.

ITV is for everyone.

ITV strongly encourages applications for this role from disabled people. As a Disability Confident Leader, if you meet the minimum criteria for a role and you have declared that you are disabled, we’ll guarantee to take you to the next stage* (minimum criteria above).

We're happy to discuss any support/personalisation you may need during our application and selection process as part of our reasonable adjustments. Drop us a line if you require anything at talkingcareers@itv.com.

  • There may be a few exceptions where we are not able to take all eligible candidates to the next stage due to the volume of applications.

Because those who make an impact deserve to be rewarded for it.

ITV offers some great rewards and benefits including:

  • Flexible working with a range of options
  • Generous holiday allowance, plus you can buy more
  • Annual bonus opportunity
  • Competitive pension contribution
