Salary: £28,987.58 (£17,392, pro rata ) – Actual for 7 month contract

Our projects are dedicated to principals of advocacy and how these can support the members of the autistic population, who face a myriad of barriers and inequalities. The AIM service is recognized for its innovative, progressive, and pioneering approach to supporting autistic adults who have little or no funded support.
We are seeking an AIM Deputy Manager for our Bradford and Craven service. The Deputy Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Bradford and Craven Autism AIM service. This role involves promoting the pilot project, increasing awareness of our services, and firmly establishing Autism AIM within the Bradford and Craven District. The post-holder will initially manage two Peer Development Workers delivering a Health Access Project and pre and post-diagnostic support. The Service Manager will work closely with the AIM Coordinator and AIM Service Manager to ensure seamless service integration and alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Management: Oversee the daily operations of the Bradford and Craven Autism AIM service, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of support.
- Team Leadership: Guide and support Peer Development Workers, ensuring they meet project goals and deliver high-quality services.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with the AIM Coordinator and AIM Service Manager to maintain cohesive service delivery across the district.
- Promotion and Awareness: Actively promote the pilot project, expanding the service’s visibility and reach within the community.
- Strategic Development: Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the Autism AIM service, ensuring its sustainability and growth.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized individual with relevant experience in similar roles, though there is ample opportunity to develop existing skills within the position.
