In this role you will
- Apply machine learning and AI methods to biological sequence (DNA, RNA, protein) data from large-scale human genetic, functional genomic and single cell experiments.
- Ship high performing AI/ML powered products in production environments.
- Ensure that the code and services being shipped are stable, tested and performing as expected in an agile environment.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Graduate studies in Computer Science or Applied Mathematics.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience with PyTorch, Tensorflow, or other deep learning frameworks.
- A solid foundation across the ML stack.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply.
- PhD in Computer Science or related field.
- Knowledge of disease biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry.
- Hands-on experience with biological data analysis (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics, proteomics).
- Demonstrated understanding and application of best practices in Machine Learning.
- Track record of contributing to open-source projects.
