The details
- Work hours: 8.30am to 5pm with an hour for lunch
- Salary guide: £26,000 - £30,000
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Daily responsibilities
- Working with customers to successfully arrange export freight from start to finish
- Taking a hands-on approach, supporting customers throughout the process and handling queries
- Submitting accurate customs declarations through Cargowise
- Dealing directly with carriers to schedule exports in line with customer timeframes
- Providing quotes and processing invoices
Skills and experience
- Freight forwarding knowledge with a specific understanding of airfreight and exports is essential for this role, and knowledge of imports and ocean freight would also be beneficial to your application
- Understands and works within ISO compliance regulations and customs legislations
- Strong time management and organisation skills, able to schedule and coordinate freight
- Superb communication skills, able to build strong relationships internally and externally with customers, suppliers, and carriers
- Working knowledge of Cargowise would be a distinct advantage
