My Birmingham based client is looking for a someone to join their procurement department as a Freight Pricing and Operations Coordinator.

Duties and responsibilities:
- To take responsibility preparing customer quotations
- Preparation of quotations for global offices and overseas partners
- Ability to follow quotation process created by Airfreight Manager
- Go the extra mile with follow up of quotations to secure as much business as possible.
- High communication skills and ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Ability to negotiate with airline carrier and selected subcontractor haulage providers.
- Build internal relationships with colleagues and externally with customers and suppliers.
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum 3 years freight forwarding industry knowledge.
- Proactive with strong organisation skills
- Knowledge of airfreight, pricing, processing, and Operations
- Knowledge of RFQ and tenders
- Knowledge of freight incoterms
- Experience using Airfreight quoting platform Webcargo
- Experience using Cargowise ~ Preferred.
