We are looking for a new ALS Coordinator to join our busy Apprenticeships department. Here you will be responsible identifying the additional learning support needs of individual apprentices, so that they enjoy a successful time at Barnsley College.

£29,506 to 34,182 per annum
Our new ALS Coordinator will work across Engineering, Construction, Digital industries, Health and Business departments, working closely with learners that are completing apprenticeships in these respective areas. You will receive referrals for students requiring additional learning support, identify what actions are required and then plan this with the wider team, including liaising with the Apprenticeship Managers and tutorial staff.
You will line manage two support workers to ensure they are delivering dedicated and tailored care to assist our learners into successfully achieving their programme of study, so that they can move to the next steps in their career. As our ALS Coordinator, you will draw on your experience to ensure the successful and appropriate provision of support for learners with an EHCP and ensure that the College meets its SEND Statutory Duties. We are looking for dedicated support for our apprentices through assisting them to successfully achieve their qualification programme of study, so that they can move to the next steps in their career.
