Position: ALS Support Tutor Location: Bromley, London Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pay: £20-25 per hour (based on qualifications and experience) Responsibilities: - Provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs in various subjects, with a focus on STEM (e.g., carpentry, plumbing) and creative industry subjects. - Deliver engaging and interactive tutoring sessions to facilitate student comprehension and skill development. - Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure effective implementation of support strategies and accommodations. - Maintain accurate records of student progress and feedback to inform ongoing support efforts. Requirements: - Previous experience in teaching and supporting students with diverse learning needs. - Proficiency in delivering support in STEM or creative industry subjects preferred. - Possession of a Level 5 teaching qualification or higher (e.g., PGCE, CertEd). - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment
