Our Pressure Pumping team have expertise in Cementing, Coiled Tubing & Stimulation. This role will be based in Aberdeen as base location but will also offer the opportunity to work in our other locations to support the teams within the region such as Netherlands. Also this role will offer the chance to work directly with clients in the field.Partner with the bestAs AMO (Assembly, Maintenance & Overhaul) Electronic Technician, you will be providing high-quality maintenance services to our customers at their field locations across UK and within Europe. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects and develop innovations. You will contribute to the success of a large team that plays an integral part in our business.As an Electronic Technician you are responsible for:Review procedures for assembly, disassembly and test verification accuracy. Configure test stations and systems. Analyze and interpret data from environmental tests and troubleshoot equipment problems. Assist in the set-up of experiments and the recordings of experimental data in collaboration with Engineering and Reliability groups. Test and evaluate the performance and if required, repair general purpose test equipment.Diagnosing instruments, Performing analytical troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of electrical and/or electronic systemsDeveloping, testing and debugging firmware for Microprocessor/Micro-controller/DSP systemEvaluating, selecting and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using a judgment in making minor adaptations and modificationsDeveloping specifications, process study, research investigations, and report preparation.Providing technical guidance to designers/drafters and less experienced engineers as requiredProviding technical leadership in developing solutions and/or devising new approaches to problems encounteredFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have proven experience working as an Electronics Engineer or Electronics Technician Have a diploma or Associates degree in Electrical field.Have ATEX certificationHave good working knowledge of single phase and three phase AC power distribution systems.Experience in Assembly, Maintenance and Overhaul and within pressure systems would be an advantage.Be open to travel to other sites and possibly field work on occasionWorking with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
