We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Analyst, Reconciliation to join our Alternative Investment Services team. This role is located in Manchester, UK – HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Deciphering complex exceptions and performing root-cause analysis on why exceptions exist.
Analysing trends, entering reconciliation data and ensuring proper aging.
Assisting more junior level support staff in identifying more complex differences.
Communicating complex break reports to either internal groups within the firm or correspondents outside the firm and monitoring resolution.
Assisting in daily, weekly and monthly reporting using an understanding of the stock record and knowledge of basic accounting. Assisting with regulatory reporting.
Conducts technical testing and the implementation of reconciliation software. Receives guidance from more experienced staff.
Completes the data analysis of Reconciliations for trending and opportunities for automation.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
High School/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
3-5 years of total work experience.
Experience in brokerage/banking operations.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with data consistency and correctness
Ability to work under pressure while consistently meeting tight deadlines
