Form of workWe are currently looking for a Analytical Manager to join a leading small molecule CDMO company based in the Leicestershire area. As the Analytical Manager you will be responsible for the overall management o the Analytical teams to GMP requirements, ensuring the delivery of complex projects.
This is a great opportunity for a small molecule expert in method development and validation to take on a management position and provide technical and operational leadership for a growing team.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Analytical Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. You will take ownership to lead and up-skill all analytical activities and assigned projects, implement new analytical strategies, and drive change where required to improve processes.
2. You will provide technical expertise in analytical development activities for pharmaceutical drugs (oral solid doses) for direct report leaders, ensuring processes are GMP compliant.
3. You will take responsibility for QMS documentations, SAR investigations, as well as review and prepare relevant reports and protocols required to fulfil projects and department needs.
4. You will provide support for internal/external Business Development activities, Regulatory cGMP audits, and take a lead in technical assessment for quotations.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Analytical Manager we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a life sciences discipline in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or similar.
2. Proven industry experience working in a large CDMO/CMO to GMP guidelines within an analytical. laboratory environment.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with managing teams and complex projects with hands on experience with HPLC method development and validation.
