We are recruiting an App Product Owner for one of our automotive clients based in Cranfield. You will be working for a globally recognised automotive company. This is a long-term contract role. The contract is on an ongoing basis a may run for several years.
Key Responsibilities of the App Product Owner:
• Benchmark result
• Analysis result

• Customer journey documentation
Benchmark study:
Conduct comprehensive benchmark studies to analyse the latest industry trends, market needs, emerging business models, and technology opportunities.
Evaluate and compare competitor s features and solutions, customer journeys, and best practices to gain valuable insights and lessons.
Voice of the customer:
Collect and analyse raw customer feedback data and continually refine a customer feedback analysis template to generate actionable insights and recommendations aiming to solve customer problems. Improve the apps customer experience, aligning it with customer behaviour and preferences and adhering to the clients Way.
End to product development lifecycle:
Manage end-to-end feature development life cycle by preparing plans, liaising with cross-functional teams (global and local) to track development, communicating progress to relevant stakeholders, and identifying risks and bottlenecks in advance to ensure on-time completion of projects.
User acceptance testing:
Work with cross-functional teams to create detailed test cases for app features. Support local testing of global features in the app to ensure compatibility, usability, and quality meet standards.
Monitor app performance:
Implement a feature-by-feature app performance monitoring system to ensure the app meets per-formance goals and user expectations. Continuously monitor key performance metrics, analyse data and provide actionable insights to optimise the app.
Facilitate meetings:
Assist in arranging meetings to facilitate communication between local and global teams, develop-ment teams and the Product Owner (PO) teams, as well as other stakeholders. Ensure effective co-ordination, collaboration and information sharing to drive project progress and alignment across teams.
Customer Journey Support:
Assist in preparing end-to-end detailed customer journeys for the app features under the guidance of senior engineers. Ensure quality and timely delivery of customer journeys for the development phase.
Design Support:
Provide design support for app services under the guidance of senior engineers. This includes back-log management and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience for the App Product Owner:
• Engineering or Computer Science Degree qualified
• 2+ years experience as a Product Owner in the IT Industry
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall processes.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic knowledge of project management
Nice to have:
• Knowledge of customer journey and design
• Ability to work with Miro, Figma
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic architecture
• Business level of Japanese communication
Hours & Pay for the App Product Owner:
• Monday to Friday
• 39 hours per week
• £27.00p/h
